Exhaust studs are sometimes overlooked when doing maintenance on your BMW. How many times have you gone to remove an exhaust nut and the entire stud comes out with it? Because the studs are steel and the cylinder head is aluminum, over time with heat, these studs get corroded and gummed up. The OEM BMW exhaust studs also do not have a drive at the end to easily install or remove them. This causes you to perform the "double nutting" method, which is timely and a hassle. Our upgraded exhaust studs use either a T6 torx end or an allen head to make installation and removal a breeze.
